What does Volunteering entail?
We rely heavily on volunteers from the community. In 2025, our volunteers worked more than 8,000 hours, saving us over $100,000 in overhead, which was subsequently donated to Capsa and The Family Place
We love and appreciate our volunteers. They are the heart of our agency.
Volunteers typically work a 3.5-hour shift once per week. We have multiple volunteers who regularly do more than that.
Somebodys Attic accepts temporary volunteers through the court system to help people pay off court fines through community service.
Church and community programs may volunteer through donation drives or group projects.
